WEEKDAY FACILITY RENTALS

 

MEMBER RENTAL RATES

Training Room – With Computers (capacity 20)

Half Day (5 hours or less), $75.00

Mediation Room – For Conferences (capacity 8)

A damage deposit of $250 shall be charged for all rentals.  Five hours or less constitutes one half-day.  Five and a half hours to nine and a half hours constitutes one whole day.  Weekends, holidays, and weekdays after business hours constitute "after hours."  The entire room rental fee plus the entire damage deposit must be paid at the time of application to hold the rental date requested.  The Association and the Renter each reserve the right to cancel this Rental Agreement by giving the other party written notice of cancellation at least ten business days before commencement of the rental period.  There will be a $100.00 cancellation fee for all room rentals.  If this rental is canceled less than 10 business days of the contracted rental date, one half of all fees (damage deposit plus full rental amount) will be withheld.  If the rental is booked by a member of GLAR for a non-member, the member must sign the contract, pay for the rental, and attend the entire event in order to receive the member rate.

Extra Charges -   $50/hr for extra time during office hours

$50/quarter hour on evenings and weekends

$50/per hour extra for holidays

$50 charged every 15 minutes over scheduled time

Payment Information

A damage deposit of $600 will be charged for all events. Five hours or less constitutes one half-day.  Five hours to ten hours constitutes one whole day.  Weekends, holidays, and weekdays after business hours constitute "after hours."  An application fee equal to 50% of the room rental fee plus the entire damage deposit shall be paid at the time of application, to hold the reservation and the full amount must be paid thirty days prior to the date of the event. The Association and the Renter each reserve the right to cancel this Rental Agreement by giving the other party written notice of cancellation at least ten business days before commencement of the rental period.  There will be a $100 cancellation fee for all room rentals. If the rental is reserved 30 days from the event date, then the entire rental fee (including the deposit) must be paid at the time the rental is reserved.

 

 

Rental Agreement Information

  • Date not held without cash/check/charge and completed contract.
  • The entire deposit and half of the rental fee are due upon signing of contract.  Remaining amount due 30 days prior to the rental date.
  • Need Copy of Homeowners Insurance or Renters Insurance when the contract is signed.
  • A rider must be obtained for the day of the rental with GLAR on the Policy as Named Insured.
  • Alcohol can be served during the event, but it cannot be sold.
  • If food is to be served, the renter must use a caterer from our preferred list of caterers.
  • No animals are allowed on the premises.
  • GLAR provides the set up and tear down of bare tables and chairs for all rentals; renters are responsible for all decorations and linens for their event.
  • The Association does not own a dance floor; renters may rent a dance floor and have it brought in for their event.
  • GLAR can seat 208 people at 26 rounds, and 300 people with a combination of round and banquet tables.  Renters may rent extra tables and chairs and have them brought in for their event.
  • All weekend rentals must be completely over at Midnight.
