a.Read the Member Orientation Enrollment Form carefully before you and your Designated REALTOR® sign it. Please enter the dates of the Orientation that you plan to attend.
b.Application for REALTOR® Membership should be submitted to our office immediately upon your affiliation with a Member Firm or “within 30 calendar days from the date of license issuance” (Article V, Section 1 of the Bylaws) to avoid additional fees. You may apply prior to receiving a license, and a license number is not required on the Application.
c.You may obtain your license issue date by contacting The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) at 517-373-1820 or checking their web site at http://www.michigan.gov/lara.
d.Contact The Association for payment information and authorization forms. REALTOR® Members may pay in full or opt for a payment plan. Dues are prorated and designed to bring you up-to-date with our current REALTOR® Members concerning New Member fees and dues to our Association, the Michigan Association, and the National Association of REALTORS®.
e.If you are applying as a Secondary REALTOR® member, fill out the same application. Secondary Members are only required to attend one day of orientation. Please return this form with your application. Contact The Association for payment information.
How do I change information on my Membership?
Contact the Association Office and speak with the Membership Department or fill out a Member Change Form from the Association or your Broker/Designated REALTOR®/Office Manager.

If the agent reapplying has been away from the Association Office for less than 6 months the following is to take place:
- The current prorated dues need to be paid, if applicable, as well as the reinstatement fee(s) or any delinquent amounts left unpaid and must accompany the Member Change Form.

There is a $50 transfer fee that is charged to the new company of the agent transferring.

Yes, if you have a licensed real estate agent in your office and you would like to be a member of the Greater Lansing Association of REALTORS®, each licensed agent needs to apply for membership.
